Press Release
Technology fair for vertical transport shows that the sector is on the rebound.
Some signs that entrepreneurs are confident in the Brazilian economic growth, and that the heightened levels of pessimism about business, may have been left behind could be seen in the VI edition of ExpoElevador at Anhembi in São Paulo. Almost five thousand qualified visitors were present to check out the innovations and new technologies of the elevator industry, an attendance record.
“Crisis? What crisis? We did not have such a negative perception of it. The fair was packed all days. We noticed that the event helped exhibitors to expand contacts, strengthen their brands and build relationships for future business transactions”, says Edilberto Cardoso de Almeida, Director of Cardoso Almeida, the organizer of the fair. According to him, research indicates that exhibitors were happy with the results achieved.
International Attendee – Fundacion Exportar, from Argentina, brought to Brazil a delegation of 11 companies specialized in the elevator industry. According to the person responsible for the export promotion, Romina Querzoti, the country participates in 180 annual trade fairs in different countries. According to her, the goal in Brazil is to strengthen relationships and partnerships to act together. The same goal of working in partnership with national companies made exhibitors from Germany, China, Spain, Italy, Turkey and other countries come to attend the fair.
In 2018, the Elevator Expo will be held in a new venue: Pro Magno, the newest and most modern event center in São Paulo.
